We stopped in New Hampshire for a couple of nights on our way to Maine and really enjoyed it. This year is the 400-year anniversary of the historic town of Portsmouth. It's such a fun town to explore with all of its history from politics to maritime. I love visiting these places during the shoulder season because it is so much more accessible and the weather is generally very pleasant.
